So, my birthday vacation was spent in bed after hurting my knee (it bent backwards) while wake boarding. Actually, it was while crashing.
My weight was getting a little out of control, and after having both my parents tell me I was getting fat, I knew it was time to do something.
So, Monday after my birthday I hobbled into the Jenny Craig center by me and signed up. So far, it's going well. The most difficult thing is not drinking alcohol, and I do splurge occasionally, but I've really cut down. The food they have is really rather good and it makes meals so easy. I'm eating way more than I usually do.
The first week I lost 5 pounds. The second week I lost 1.5. I actually had lost 3 pounds from the the week I spent in bed not drinking before I even signed up. I was just 2 pounds shy of my highest weight, which was back in college when I signed up for Weight Watchers. So it was certainly time again to do something.
So I'm really serious about it this time. It consumes my thoughts most of the day. So, we'll see if I'm really able to change my life.
