I'm one of those people that thinks I know a lot about myself. (Don't we all?) But now I'm questioning things I thought I knew. It's all so much more scary than I remember. But it's been a long time. I thought I was sure of things, and myself, and now, I see how quickly I can start to question those things.

I learned my lesson well about writing about people. No more details. I hope when I look back at this in the future I remember what I was talking about.

Even the internet is boring me. I wish the dude would call. Oh well.

Not a Morning Person

I wish I was more of a morning person. I really feel like my brain doesn't get going until at least noon. If not later. Maybe it's because I stay up too late usually, but last night I had the opportunity to go to bed early, and I did. At like 9. And didn't fall asleep for hours. How can I be so tired during the day and then not be able to sleep? It's frustrating. Especially, when hopefully, I'll be busy with someone this week and stay up late. Like tonight, I'm hoping to go to the bar we went to last Tuesday. And so since I'm hoping and not knowing, my mind is also not functioning 100% because I'm distracted and hoping to hear from that person that I want to go out with tonight. So I'm tired, and distracted, and not getting much done. At least it's almost noon. Maybe my brain will turn on soon.

Really, how stupid can you be?

I'm watching one of those Dateline To Catch a Predator shows and I'm seriously blown away about the absolute stupidity of these guys. How on Earth does a 40 something man think he's going to do a teenager? If I wasn't watching the complete absurdity, I wouldn't believe it. The best part is when the guy has seen these shows. Duh! And really, most of them are so gross looking. No wonder they need to hide behind the internet... but they really think they had a chance with a teen? I'd love to see if they could pull this off with older women meeting teenage boys. I'm not going to say all men are stupid, but there sure are a lot of insanely stupid men out there.

It's rather mind boggling.

And every one of them says "I just wanted to talk with her." Hoping with every ounce of their being that the men about to arrest them and prosecute them are as completely stupid as them. Ahhhh... no. Sorry, we're not all idiots.

OMG

I've been very neglectful of my blog lately. Didn't even post my slight weight gain after last week's weigh in. Considering I haven't been paying any attention to trying to lose weight this week, my .4 pound gain is pretty good. At least I think that's what it was... now I'm getting myself confused. You'd think I could remember a few numbers for 30 minutes. Oh well.

But here's what made me post today: I found this and just had to share. I'm going to see if I can find more of this guy's comics. Love it! Night of the Ponies .

 

 

ETA: Wow, I really had no idea about all the My Little Pony stuff out there. People actually customize them. This one is the coolest I've seen so far.

The story of stolen Chemo broke my heart. I'm so glad he's been reunited with Kyle. The pics brought tears to my eyes.

News

First, the saddest, Steve Irwin died over the weekend. :(  Very sad. I feel so bad for his family.

I got dismissed from jury duty (thank goodness -- I really think they're guilty)
